RESUMO

This research, developed as a case study, was done at UNIDERP (Universidade para o Desenvolvimento do Estado e da Região do Pantanal) aimed at describing the way that scientific achievement of UNIDERPs Research Cores is informed to society, through its coordinators view. It has been chosen a qualitative focus taking an interview as a leading means to select data. Samples were made up by UNIDERP Research Cores coordinators. A content analysis was used to understand the interviewees reports. At the end of the interview we could identify that communication of the scientic achievement in these cores is either done through a formal communication channel or informal one, but the formal one is more used. The most common ways of getting the scientific achievement to the society are firstly through scientific articles, then book publishing, due to its high cost. The informal ways of communication are the Internet and the TV Pantanal. However we noticed that the communication done through informal way even being a faster one to get the new findings accomplished by UNIDERP to the society isnt the type of communication that has a feedback, by academic view. Otherwise scientific articles as well book publishing, due to being printed, work as institutional documents proving the scientic achievement,
