RESUMO
This dissertation is the result of a research whose general objective is to understand the influence level in the leadership in the processes of innovation and their implications in the organization results. The specific objectives were: to identify the management model adopted by the T&E trade group; to study the profile of professional competence of the leadership in the company which favors the creation of a proper environment to the development of the innovation; to verify the impact of the innovation as a competitive advantage and its implications in the trade results. It is justified by the fact of the innovation be considered a competitive advantage nowadays, since it constitutes the capacity the company has of innovating, of transforming ideas and inventions in opportunities for new trade and of being valuable in terms of the economical-financial way of view. The main theoretical reference in this research is based on authors who work Management Models, Leadership and Innovation. About the methodology, this is a quanti-qualitative research whose nature is exploratory and descriptive, which occurred by a case study, whose results showed that the leadership has had a fundamental role in the generation of innovations occurred in the T&E trade group and that they have influenced, in a positive way, in the organizational results. .
