RESUMO

This dissertation presents experimental and theoretical techniques for the dynamic analysis of torque transmission systems with clearance. A procedure for the measurement oÍ the torque of a transmission system is presented, including the construction stages of a test rig and tests for the determination of the characteristics of the measuring equipment. A mathematical model for the numeric simulation of the system is elaborated. This model presents the solutíon for non-linearíties introduced by the clearance and impacts. Theoretical and experimental simulations are performed for different operational conditions followed by their comparison and comments of results
