RESUMO

The post-treatments with the evaporated hidroalcholics extracts (EHEs) of the species So/anum panicu/atum L. Ourubeba), So/anum variabile M. Ourubebafalsa), So/anum nigrum L. (maria-pretinha) and So/anum cernuum Vell. (panacéia) etnopharmacologically selected, were investigated in hepatic lesions previously induced by the carbon tetrachloride (CCI4). EHEs were obtained by percolation the process A Pharmacophea Brazilian 2nd edition, being used, starting from the aerial parts of these species (stems, leaves, flowers), collected in Bragança from São Paulo area (SP). Previously the qualitative chemical analysis was proceeded for alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins and tannins. Albino rats, Wistar, males, were divided in 6 groups for So/anum panicu/atum L. and 4 groups for So/anum variabile M., So/anum nigrum L. and So/anum cernuum V. , receiving in the time O, respectively, G1, G2 and G3 (olive oil 3,75 mL.kg-1, intragastrically - i.g.), G4, G5 and G6 (CCI4 - 1.5 mL.kg-1 in olive oil to 40% v/v; i.g.), for S. panicu/atum L., and in the time O, G1 and G2 (olive oil 3,75 mL.kg-1, i.g.), G3 and G4 (CCI4 - 1.5 mL.kg-1 in olive oil to 40% v/v; i.g.) for the other species. In the times 6, 12 and 18h afie r CCI4 treatment, the groups of So/anum panicu/atum L. received, i.g., G1 (vehicle of EHE, 3,0 mL.kg-1), G2 and G3 (EHE - 0,5 and 1,Og.kg-1 respectively), G4 (vehicle of EHE, 3,0 mL.kg 5 and G6 (EHE - 0,5 and 1,0 g.kg-1 respectively), being for the other species, G1 (vehicle of EHE, 3,0 mL.kg 2 (EHE - 1,Og.kg 3 (vehicle of EHE, 3,0 mL.kg 4 (EHE - 1,0 g.kg-1). Elapsed 24hOO from the lesion for the CCI4, sanguine and hepatic specimens were collected, and as markers of the hepatotoxicity lesions, biochemical analyses of the activity of the aminotransferases (AL T and AST) and of the serics concentrations of total and direct bilirrubin were accomplished. For the histopatolgic study it was taken in to consideration the intensity of the stetatosis, necrosis and hydropic changes phenomenons of the hepatocytes. The biochemical values were submitted to variance analysis, Dunnett s test being applied to the significant data (p <0,05). The treated groups with EHEs associated to the CCI4 didn t show to be effective in the reversion route of citotoxic hepatic lesion induced by this agent, in none of the administered doses, by means of the biochemical results. EHEs of Solanum paniculatum L. and Sola num nigrum L., have exacerbated the hepatic lesion for the CCI4 according to the obtained values of total and direct bilirrubin, as well as EHE of Solanum variabile M., starting from the results of enzymatic activity of AL T. The results of the histopathological didn t differ significantly among the treated groups with CCI4 and EHEs in relation to the treated group only with the CCI4, in the parameters steatosis, necrosis and hydropic changes of the hepatocytes. EHEs of Solanum paniculatum L., Solanum variabile M., Solanum nigrum L. and Solanum cemuum V. were ineffective in the reversion of the progression of the hepatic damage caused by CCI4, being for this reason, deprived from hepatoprotective activity in the present experimental protocol, not justifying its etnopharmacologic employment for the liver diseases treatment
