RESUMO

Studies on the recovery of areas degraded for the mining, through the direct sowing still are incipient, however, can supply valuable information on the potential of this methodology, in the reestablishment of a vegetal community in considered environments extreme, with poor and degraded soil. In comparison to the used alternative more, that is with the plantation of changes formed in fisheries, the direct sowing appears as a considerable possibility in the reduction of the implantation costs. The objective of this work was to evaluate the establishment of seedlings of four native species of the Cerrado, restricted direction (Cybistax antisyphilitica, Hymenaea stigonocarpa, Enterolobium gummiferum and Copaifera langsdorffii), in the recovery of one old gravel pit in the Fazenda Água Limpa of property of the University of Brasilia. The plantation of the seeds direct and was grouped, in flat and deep hollows. The effect of the organic matter had been tested (poultry litter), application of calcareous and the ground conditioner SOLOGEL. During 90 days the area was kept under irrigation, has seen that the project was initiated in full period of stop rain in central plateaus Brazilian. To the 154 days of the plantation, one evaluated it amount of seedling established, its heights and diameter of col. Only the seeds of H. stigonocarpa, E. gummiferum and C. langsdorffii had reached success in the establishment of seedlings, with 34,4%, 19.4% and 21.7% of a total of 150 flat hollows; and 33.3%, 20.6% and 22.2% of 150 deep hollows. The analysis statistics demonstrated not to have significant effect of the two types of hollows on the survival, height and diameter of col of seedlings. How much to the applied treatments, it had significant differences on the variable height and diameter for the species C. langsdorffii,
