RESUMO

In this thesis it is shown the construction of an electrical machine laboratory to be used for thermal dynamic studies. Besides the electrical machines, mechanical load and drive, control and electrical protection eguipments, the laboratory comprises a 12 bits data acguisition system, an electronic automatization system, sensors an a microcomputer. Drive The laboratory will be used to allow for the fast and reliable temperature of several machine parts acguisition, allowing also for the storage of the data for handling by specific softwares. The performance of the lab. was tested by induction motors load tests according to the duties presented on brazilian and international induction machines standards. The tests results were also compared to simulation results donne by other researches as shown in the references
