RESUMO
A 70% reduction in the number of infectious rubella virions normally produced in MCF-7 cells occurred when the cells were stimulated with 17beta-estradiol. Analysis of virus-induced RNA indicated a delay in the conversion of replicative intermediate to virion RNA.
