RESUMO
The effects of selenite, selenocystine, and selenomethionine in a defined growth medium on formic dehydrogenase biosynthesis in aerobically and anaerobically grown Escherichia coli have been studied. Sucrose gradient centrifugation of a partially purified enzyme demonstrated a coincidence of 75Se incorporation and formic dehydrogenase activity.
