RESUMO

Brazilian Entrepreneurs in Boston. This study focuses on the small businesses developed by Brazilians who began immigrating to Boston in the 1980s. A survey of these enterprises will be conducted in an effort to characterize both the businesses and their owners. This research will not be limited to the economic aspects of these enterprises but will also analyze their socio-cultural dimension by employing the concept of "ethnic economy" that has been used in reference to the activities of immigrant groups in that country.
