RESUMO

This is a research that aims to investigate its own procedures, divided in two parts: a photographic essay, close to video language, and a thesis, close to a literary essay. Both have the same aim: an artistic practice that updates critical thoughts on photography. These two essays named Epiphanies are the results of decisions and assemblages. In the first one the visual essay different images from the very same action are bring together in a practice that searched for the gaze and the instant communication with the other. The second one the thesis-essay presents an annotated, assimilated assemblage of relevant concepts on photography &communication that, in its turn, have formatted the former one.
