Estudo quimico do Solanum granuloso-leprosum (Dunal)

RESUMO

From the optimized extraction method applied separately to the leaves, wood and fruits of Solanum granuloso-leprosum (Dunal), Solanaceae, we obtained the basic and the neutral extracts. The basic extracts afforded solasodine as the main alkaloidaI constituent of the plant, in addition to solaso-3,5-diene,b-glycoside-solasodine and traces of an undentified alkaloid. From the non-saponified material of the neutral extracts of the Ieaves we isolated: a mixture of long chain saturated hydrocarbons; solanesol; lanosterol; 3b-hydroxy-5a-lanosta-8,24-diene-7-one and a new lanosterol derivative for which we suggest the structure 3b,16b-dihydroxy-5a-lanosta-8,24-diene-11-one based on the comparative study of its HN.M.R. spectrum with those of some known lanostane compounds prepared by us (dihydrolanosterol acetate; 3b-acetoxy-5a-lanosta-8-ene-7-ona; 3b-acetoxy-5a-lanosta-8-ene-7,11-diene; 3b-acetoxy-5a-lanosta-9(11)-ene-7-ona; 3b-acetoxy-5a-lanosta-9b, 11b-epoxide-7-ona; 3b,11b-dihydroxy-5a-lanosta-8-ene-7-ona; 3b-acetoxy- 5a-lanosta-8-ene-7-ona-11b-ol; 3b-acetoxy- 5a-lanosta-8-ene-11-one-7b-ol) . We proved definitiveley that one triterpene is 3b-hydroxy-5a-lanosta-8,24-diene-7-one comparing its acetate H N.M.R. spectrum with that of 3b-acetoxy-5a-Ianosta-8-ene-7-one. From the non-saponified material of the neutral extracts of the wood and the fruits we isolated b-sitosterol and long chain ester respectiveley. The saponified material from the neutral extracts of the fruits and the leaves, both afforded palmitic and stearic acids.
