RESUMO
In this work we calculate the EPR spectra of CePd3:Gd and CePd3:Dy. In CePd3:Gd powdered samples, we show that the anomalous thermal behaviour of the line width (decrease of rate of change of the thermal broadening at low T) is due to both exchange narrowing of the fine structure of Gd and Ce valence fluctuations effects. In the CePd3:Dy Case, we show that the EPR spectra do not show intermediate valence effects but the exchange narrowing of the resonance lines has an important contribution. In these calculations we include the Zeeman and crystal field effects
