Estudo vibracional do acetato de litio dihidratado

RESUMO
A solid state vibrational study of eight isotopic compounds of lithium acetate dihydrate (CH3COOLi.2H2O, CH3COOLi.2H2O, CD3COOLi.2H2O, CD3COOLi.2H2O, CH3COOLi.2D2O, CH3COOLi.2D2O, CD3COOLi.2D2O, CD3COOLi.2D2O) was carried out. The compounds were prepared and their Raman and infrared spectra were recorded for polycrystalline samples. The isotopic effects on the internal and external fundamental vibrations were discussed in terms of the isotopic rules for solid state vibrations. The deviations of the experimental isotopic ratios from the theoretical ones are explained by considering the existence of vibrational mode couplings between the internal and/or external vibrations of the crystal.
