RESUMO
The percentage of normalized early change in total hemoglobin concentration between the pretrcatment image and an image acquired during the early cycles of therapy was significantly different (P ≤ .05) inpatients with a complete pathologic response (pCR) versus incomplete pathologic response, and the mean value was larger when a variable-size region-of-interest (ROI) analysis was used, compared with a fixed-size ROI analysis, in cases with a pCR.
