RESUMO

This work investigates identity processes that occur in the chemical formation in the context of the curriculum offered by the Institute of Chemistry in Unicamp, covering the following possibilities of graduation: bachelor degree, teacher course and bachelor with technological attributions. For that, people immersed in the everyday life of this institution were interviewed, according to the principle of methodological narrative, inspired by Walter Benjamin. As a result of the research, analysis of the narratives show evidences that the professional?s identities formed escapes from prescriptive curriculum drawing ways that, sometimes, overlap and articulates with the stories of life.
