RESUMO
The work presented validates the deployment of a voice gateway for integration between IP networks and the universe of public networks to traditional telephony. The differentiated nature of this Gateway is related to adherence to the functional architecture of next generation networks, through the use of libraries and open platforms, as well as the development of applications that allow the generation of new services for companies and institutions that use such a structure. The Gateway was implemented adherent and with cohesive similarities to the functional architecture of next generation networks. To validate the proposed integration of IP-PSTN, were developed and tested five applications, which integrate with libraries and IP Telephony platform of open format. We use the Asterisk platform together with the libraries libpri, dahdi and chan_ss7. The main objective was to validate the integration with traditional telecommunications operators through the ISDN signaling and R2Digital signaling and interconnection with VoIP providers that use SIP and IAX2. We have also added to the Gateway SS7 over IP signaling, which currently only has been used in the internal environment of telecommunications operators. The approach to testing was divided into two scenarios: tests in laboratory and tests in real corporate environments. In laboratory was validated the use of the SS7 Over IP signaling. In tests conducted in corporate environments has made the operation of the applications developed, the activation of the ISDN and R2Digital signaling and integration through SIP and IAX2 protocols. The validation of integration allowed by different signals and protocols, did conclude that the use of such platforms and libraries allows us the actual development of a gateway that provides access to a low cost telecommunications architecture that has also adhered to the universe of next generation networks.
