RESUMO

Diverse are the interactions between the environment and the man, what certainly it is reflected in the health. It is enough to consider that the basic elements to our survival nothing more are of that the suitable environment to our consumption, as the water and foods, as well as air, which would have to be consumed by us free of interference human being, unchanged in its natural characteristics. Of this form, the present work intends at a first moment to bring a bibliographical revision concerning the subject Ambient Health, having the water as main focus, accumulating of stocks the legal question, as well as the importance of the use of geoindicators as planning instruments. At as a moment, the case of the city of Itambaracá-PR is presented, which if points out in area of related geochemistry anomalies to the problems of collective health in the region, with serious dental prevalence of fluorose, presenting beyond the socials and ambient characteristics, a geochemistry survey of superficial and underground waters, considered as qualitative instrument of planning and management of action in the field of Ambient Health.
