Hot-Loop Test for the Determination of Carbon Dioxide Production from Glucose by Lactic Acid Bacteria

RESUMO
A hot-loop test was found to be more rapid, convenient, and reliable for the detection of carbon dioxide production than were conventional methods such as displacement of agar plugs and precipitation in barium hydroxide.
