Joint amyloid presenting as 'polymyalgic' rheumatoid arthritis.

RESUMO
A patient presenting with 'polymyalgic' rheumatoid arthritis was shown to have synovial amyloid at an early stage of his illness. It is suggested that such patients merit early synovial biopsy and investigation.
