RESUMO
The havy metal fluoride glasses have usually many cationic species and many intermediary reactions happen during the smelt. However the melteds cooling is very fast. Thus the proprieties of the glass depend strongly of the chemical way and of the termic history. In this work we study the effect of chemistry way (method of preparation) about the termics and optics proprieties of ZBLAN:Pr with the composition 57ZrF4-14BaF2-4LaF3-5AlF3-20NaF:xPrF3, where x change from 0,05 to 2 mol%. Particularly was studied the stability thermic in relation the crystallization and the fluorescences efficiency of the ZBLAN glasse dopaded with PrF3. In this work the glasses was fabricated by convetional fusion, called direct melting, and by new method, denominated parceladed melting. Verified that the fabrication method glasses fluorides influence significantly in termics and optics proprieties, confirming the success this work.
