RESUMO

ln this work is presenteel the moeleling anel the simulation for three mathematical models for three-phase catalytic reactor. The models are steadly-state and one-diimensional. The mathematical formulation of the models is shown, by the consieleration of the mass and energy balances. ln the first model the reactor is considered a series of perfectly mixing tanks, in the second the reactor is considered tubular without axial dispersion, and in thelast one consieler the reactor tubular with axial dispersion. By way of the computacional programs has been performed simulations for the three developed models. Are shown the principal results obtained by simulation. The effects of the parameters on the performances are analysed for each type of models
