RESUMO
The aim of this study is to investigate, conceptualize, and put into context inclusive compositional strategies, related to the use of the audience, in the musical works Rumos Op. 72 of Ernst Widmer, Instrução 61 and Instrução 62 of Luiz Carlos Lessa Vinholes, and Santos Football Music of Gilberto Mendes. Through this analytical approach it is also intended to correlate these strategies with the works of other Brazilian composers from the second-half of the 20th century, in an attempt to note the characteristics of their repertoire and establish a possible connection with the musical thought amongst these composers. In addition, a whole new theoretical compositional model is proposed with a view to encouraging further development of works utilizing inclusive compositional strategies.
