O espaço cultural na escola publica : momentos habitados

RESUMO
The present work focuses the cultural space of the public school, in some of its bistoric and social aspects, and analyses activities that were developed by the teacher researcher involving masks theater, literature and science teaching, with classes of middle school in Macaé(RJ) and Campinas(SP). These activities are discussed through several relationships that were here established, in order to understand the difficulties, and mainly the possibilities of the pedagogic practices involving cultural productions. The analysis concerning the theater in the school, permeated by the history oí the theater in Brazil, evidences traces oí the catechetic and didactic theater, and also freedom movements in their activities, inviting to the searching of altematives to explore, in the school, other possibilities that the theater has. This work also provides theoretical elements concerning scientific language and poetic language, that are interesting to the teacher, in his work with cultural productions.
