RESUMO
This essay discuss in great detail the composition for the ballet Os Ipês: uma história romântica de Curitiba, based on a story as told by the journalist Luiz Ricardo Weber. This work intends to show the musical composition from a script designed to be choreographed, made up of seven different but intertwined scenes that makes reference to the real story, making use of 20th-Century compositional procedures.
