RESUMO

The main purpose was to evaluated hibiscus, a medicinal plant, calyces productivity in different planting time and harvest methods. The treatments were four time planting (October 18, November 15, December 18 2001 and January 15, 2002) and two harvest methods (only one final harvest and harvest 15 days apart beginning 138 days after planting). It was conclueded that planting time differed between them, being the October planting one that showed better results with production of 2,522 and 2,287 kg.ha-1 for just one harvest and interval of harvest, respectively. The interval of harvest showed best calyces quality.
