RESUMO

Phthalocyanines are planar macrocycles with the presence of a central metal ion, formed by bridges of nitrogen and substituent groups in the aromatic rings adjacents. A large number of (PI) electrons, molecular symmetry and the possibility to coordinate different metals in nitrogen central atoms allows the use of these compounds in optical devices, light emitting devices and optical recording, also in organic transistors, sensors, solar cells and molecular photosensitizers for photodynamic therapy. On the other hand, the versatility of polymers noteworthy because of the broad production use of materials, many of them easily accessible, like linear or slightly branched aliphatic polyester polyols (polyadipates) and aromatic polyester polyols (polyphtalates), most of them used to obtain polyurethanes, flexibles and rigids, respectively. This work proposes the synthesis and characterization of polymeric matrices with phthalocyanine macrocycles covalently bonded to the monomers, the combination of the properties of phthalocyanines, such as high chemical and thermal resistance, and the inherent properties of the polymeric matrices, promote the development of new materials with promising characteristics for their use.
