RESUMO
Large-scale systems are often characterized by hierarchical structures, and they usually have multiple objectives that may be conflicting. The modelling of large-scale systems is normally a dificult task and of using the theory of integrated, hierarchical large-scale multilevel complex solution. This study system analysis methodology, aims at providing an systems. Moreover, the functions and information flows between the levels are described. An example is developed using the proposed methodology. The formal hierarchical structure description, the mathematical models that represent the system as well as development of a decision-making support structure are elaborated. The exampleconsidered is part of a steelmaking plant ( BOF and ladle metallurgy ) of an integrated steel planto and analysed. Simulation results are presented
