RESUMO
Crude and purified Escherichia coli heat-stable enterotoxin was stained directly in polyacrylamide gel rods after electrophoresis with Coomassie brilliant blue G-250 dissolved in 1 N H2SO4--one-month volume of 10 N KOH-12% trichloroacetic acid. The stained heat-stable toxin bands were partially characterized.
