RESUMO

Anterior-posterior single-crystal echocardiography has been used in atrial flutter and in sinus rhythm after cardioversion to demonstrate anterior movement of the posterior left atrial wall, representing the effects of atrial flutter and sinus contractions.1 This is thought to be the first report of characteristic superior movement of the inferior left atrial wall during atrial flutter, atrial tachycardia, and sinus rhythm by single-crystal suprasternal notch echocardiography.
