Systemic lupus erythematosus presenting as polymyalgia rheumatica in the elderly.

RESUMO
Three patients who developed systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) over the age of 60 are described. All patients presented with a clinical syndrome typical of polymyalgia rheumatica. In two cases there was an underlying myositis.
