RESUMO
Numeric methods have been a very attractive alternative in the analysis and solution of problems in electromagnetic fields. Those are applicable to a high variety of problems involving complex geometry, heterogenic material composition and boundary condition diversities. This research has the objective of studying the modeling of thin wires using the numeric method TLM (Transmission Line Modeling Method) to analyze problems related to Electromagnetic Compatibility. The work is divided in three parts. Firstly, attention is given to the theoretic fundaments of the TLM method, ranging its one; two and three-dimensional versions. On the second part, some models found in literature are presented that deal with the node conductors, which make the modeling elements of thin wires in threads of great dimensions possible. Finally, case analysis for validation and verification for the potential of the node conductor model under study are made. The results of the simulation are compared with the model of the short-circuit conductor, widely used on the TLM method
