UM ESTUDO SOBRE A INTERAÇÃO ADULTO/CRIANÇAS EM GRUPOS DE IDADES MISTAS NA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL

RESUMO

The child learns and develops in social and cultural contexts, in which interior, by the guided participation that establishes with more or less experienced companions, makes their ways of reading and understanding the world that surrounds them more complex. As regards 2 to 5 year old children, that reading go beyond imagination, creativity, concept formation, affection and ludic activity. This aspects of children learning and development are carried out every day at children education centers, by means of interpersonal exchanges, that take place in and by adult/child and child/child interactions. This essay covers an exploratory research conducted at a city children education center in Blumenau, Santa Catarina. The structure and operation of this center is about mixed age classes. The study sample took six teachers working with groups of eight children aging 2 to 5 years old. The goal was to research the styles of adult/child interaction in the mixed age classes, during oriented collective activities. The data gathered in video recorded sessions was examined by microgenetic analysis and discussed under historic cultural psychology approach. The results show homogenization of interaction styles of the six teachers mentioned, but the single interaction (IU) and fixed position (PF) styles stood out in the group of sessions.
