RESUMO

BmoLL, that extracted lectin by Bauhinia monandra leaf lectin, is galactose specific and have been purified through ammonium sulphate fractionation followed by affinity chromatography. Cramoll, Craltylia mollis seeds lectin, recognizes glicose/manose and presents concanavalin A, similar properties, Con A, lectin one that it is extracted of Canavalia ensiformes seeds, and already sufficiently is characterized. BmoLL and Cramoll 1,4 electrochemical potentials were obtained through potenciostatics techniques using different salt solutions as carriers to evaluate distribution between Ag/AgCl electrode, reference electrode, and double platinized platinum foil connected with a platinum wire, work electrode. Lectin positive electrochemical potentials were determined and indicated electrode high sensitivities. The obtained results suggested that a high area electrode surface increases the stabilization in interface of the double electric layers. An electrochemical system was developed to evaluate charged loads in BmoLL and Cramoll 1,4 free surfaces, interacting or not with their specific carbohydrates
