RESUMO

This paper studies the distribution of people in an university campus Universidade de Brasília (UNB) by investigating relationships between configuration, land use and distribution of people in space. Morphological and social variables will be dealt with. Morphological variables will be dealt by means of space syntax tools and social data come from stratified interview with students, teachers and civil servants of the university: who is doing what, where, with whom, and how they evaluate the places. The main point is to understand the social logic of the UNB campus: morphological reasons behind peoples movement and concentration (or otherwise) in spaces.
