1. Is Increasing Doses of Imazapyr + Imazapic Detrimental to the Main Crop Rotation Alternatives to Flooded Rice?

2. Phytotoxicity of imazapyr+imazapic on tolerant rice varieties Guri INTA CL and IRGA 424 RI
ABSTRACT Rice varieties from the Clearfield® system may present different tolerance levels to imidazolinone herbicides in function of application rate. The objective of this research was to evaluate the phytotoxicity of different rates of the formulated mixture of the herbicides imazapyr+imazapic applied on two tolerant irrigated rice varieties. The exper

3. Morphological and Metabolic Changes in Soybean Plants Cultivated in Irrigated Rice Rotation and as Affected by Imazapyr and Imazapic Herbicides Carryover

4. BRS A701 CL: a new irrigated rice cultivar adapted to the clearfield® production system
Abstract A partnership program of Embrapa and BASF resulted in the development of a new irrigated rice cultivar adapted to the Clearfield® production system in Rio Grande do Sul. The cultivar is tolerant to the imidazolinone herbicide kifix®. In field trials in Rio Grande do Sul it produced a mean yield of 8394 kg ha-1.

5. Development of herbicide-tolerant irrigated rice cultivars.
The objective of this work was to develop new irrigated rice lines tolerant to imidazolinone herbicides. The backcross breeding procedure was used to transfer the imidazolinone tolerance allele from mutant 93AS3510 to the recurrent parents 'BRS 7 Taim' and 'BRS Pelota'. Individual herbicide-tolerant plants were selected in each generation, for three backcros

7. RESIDUALS FROM TWO HERBICIDES IMAZETHAPYR AND IMAZAPIC ON PADDY RICE WITH DIFFERENTS SOIL MANAGEMENTS / RESIDUAL DA MISTURA FORMULADA DOS HERBICIDAS IMAZETHAPYR E IMAZAPIC EM ÁREAS DE ARROZ SOB DIFERENTES MANEJOS DE SOLO
Red rice (Oryza spp.) is one of the main limiting factors of rice yield (O. sativa L.) in the world and particularly in the Rio Grande do Sul (RS) state Brazil. The Clearfield technology is a viable and efficient tool for controlling such harmful plant by using imidazolinone herbicides in tolerant cultivars. However, herbicides may persist on the soil after

8. IMIDAZOLINONE TOLERANT RICE: RED RICE CONTROL, HERBICIDE PERSISTENCE AND OUTCROSSING / ARROZ TOLERANTE A IMIDAZOLINONAS: CONTROLE DO ARROZ VERMELHO, PERSISTÊNCIA DE HERBICIDAS E FLUXO GÊNICO
Red rice (Oryza spp.) is one of the main limiting factors to rice (O. sativa L.) yield. After several decades searching for red rice control tools, it was developed imidazolinone tolerant rice, to selectively control red rice. To better understand this technology it were conducted two experiments in 2004/05, in Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil. T

9. ALTERNATIVAS DE CONTROLE QUÍMICO DO ARROZ-VERMELHO E PERSISTÊNCIA DOS HERBICIDAS (IMAZETHAPYR + MAZAPIC) E CLOMAZONE NA ÁGUA E NO SOLO / CHEMICAL RED RICE CONTROL AND PERSISTENCE OF (IMAZETHAPYR + IMAZAPIC) AND CLOMAZONE IN SOIL AND WATER
Weed infestation, mainly with red rice (Oryza spp.), is the most important factor limiting yield increase in paddy rice in Rio Grande do Sul state. Chemical red rice control is the most used tool in this area. But, its use can originate herbicide residue in water and soil that can cause carry-over to rotational crops and environmental contamination. To asses
