2. Estudo sobre a identificação de hádrons em câmaras de fotoemulsão / Study about hadron identification in emulsion chambers
This work introduces the importance of photoemulsion chambers that remain in use after decades and still offer many advantages for elementary particle physics. We cite OPERA (Oscillation Project with Emulsion-tRacking Apparatus) detector that is the greatest lead photoemulsion chamber detector ever constructed as an example of its application nowadays (nine

3. Sobre a evolução hidrodinâmica da matéria nuclear criada em colisões de íons pesados relativísticos - um estudo com condições iniciais flutuantes / On the hydrodynamic evolution of the nuclear matter created in relativistic heavy ion collisions - a study with fluctuating initial conditions
In this work we apply a hydrodynamic model with fluctuating initial conditions in a event by event basis to study some observables in relativistic heavy ion collisions. We show that the introduction of fluctuations, characterized by longitudinal high energy density tubes, turn the computation of the observables closer to data, in comparison to the traditiona

4. O vértice D*Dp usando as regras de soma da QCD / The D*Dp vertex using the QCD sum rules
The particle physics have been studying topics like the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP), Higgs boson and dark matter, which require experiments in heavy-ion collisions. Therefore, accelerators capable of generate high energy particle beams are necessary and may generate new physics. When new data arise in the laboratories, new processes are necessary to explain thi

5. Development of formalism for neutrino evolution in the early universe / Desenvolvimento de formalismo para evolução de neutrinos no universo primordial
In this work, we studied some aspects of neutrino physics, using the state vector and density matrix formalisms, with the goal of understanding the neutrino evolution in the primordial universe. In the rst approach, we analysed the phenomenum of neutrino oscillation in vacuum, the induced matter potential and its expression as a refraction index, and the inf

6. Fragmentação nuclear em colisões de íons pesados a energias relativísticas / Nuclear fragmentation in collisions of heavy ions to relativistic energies

7. Produção de estranheza em colisões de ions pesados relativisticos / Strangeness production in relkativistic heavy ion collisions
Relativistic heavy-ion collisions allow us to study the behavior of nuclear matter at extreme conditions of temperature and energy density. In these conditions, we expect a phase transition of matter where a free state of quarks and gluons would be formed, and that is known as Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP). With the aim to study this new state of matter and its f

8. J/psi and Upsilon measurements in p+p collisions at sqrt{s}=200 GeV in the STAR experiment / Medidas de J/psi e Upsilon em colisões p+p a raiz{s} =200 GeV no experimento STAR

9. Jet physics in ep collisions
The most recent results of jet cross section measurements at HERA collider in photoproduction and deep inelastic scattering are presented. The forward jet and multiple jet productions are discussed from point of view of QCD dynamics. Results of precise extractions of the strong coupling alphas are presented.

10. Generalized z-scaling and pp collisions at RHIC
New generalization of the z-scaling in inclusive particle production is proposed. The scaling variable z is expressed in terms of the momentum fractions x1 and x2 of the incoming protons. Explicit dependence of z on the momentum fractions y a and y b of the scattered and recoil constituents carried by the inclusive particle and recoil object is included. The

11. Nuclear dependence of the saturation scale and its consequences for the electron-ion collider
We study the predictions of CGC physics for electron-ion collisions at high energies. The nucleus at high energies acts as an amplifier of saturation effects. We have investigated some observables, using a generalization for nuclear targets of the Iancu-Itakura-Munier model, and our results indicate that the experimental analysis of these observables in the

12. J/psi production in the saturation regime
In this work we calculate the J/psi production in the initial stage of proton-proton, proton-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus collisions at RHIC and LHC energies, taking into account the high parton density regime of QCD, where the physics of parton saturation is expected to be dominant. We perform a quantitative analysis of the xF distributions in these collisio
