2. Simultaneous and accurate determination of water- and fat-soluble vitamins in multivitamin tablets by using an RP-HPLC method
In the present study, a reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatographic (RP-HPLC) procedure was developed and validated for the simultaneous determination of seven water-soluble vitamins (thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, cyanocobalamin, ascorbic acid, folic acid, and p-aminobenzoic acid) and four fat-soluble vitamins (retinol acetate, cholecalciferol, α

3. Efeitos da administração de Butafosfan e Cianocobalamina após o parto, sobre parâmetros metabólicos e produtivos de vacas leiteiras / Effects of administration of Butafosfan and Cyanocobalamin postpartum on metabolic parameters and production of dairy cows
The aim of this study was to determine the effects of intramuscular injection of Butaphosphan and Cyanocobalamin on the parameters of energy metabolism, protein, enzyme, mineral and livestock of dairy cows in the postpartum period. We used 52 animals of the Holstein breed. The experimental period ranged from birth to 150 days of lactation. These cows were di

4. Efficacy and safety of combined piroxicam, dexamethasone, orphenadrine, and cyanocobalamin treatment in mandibular molar surgery
Third molar extraction is a common procedure frequently accompanied by moderate or severe pain, and involves sufficient numbers of patients to make studies relatively easy to perform. The aim of the present study was to determine the efficacy and safety of the therapeutic combination of 10 mg piroxicam, 1 mg dexamethasone, 35 mg orphenadrine citrate, and 2.5

5. Avaliação do uso de Rheumazin, uma associação do Piroxicam, Dexametasona, Cianocobalamina e Orfenadrina na Exodontia do terceiro molar / Efficacy and safety of sombined Piroxicam, Dexamethasone, Orphenadrine and Cyanocobalamin in mandibular molar surgery model

6. Preparo, caracterização e perfil de liberação in vitro de microesferas de sílica processadas por spray drying
In this study, the release rate of cyanocobalamin from different sol-gel spray-dried silica microspheres formulations was investigated. The drug was incorporated into a sol phase of a silica precursor, tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS), before spray drying with a Büchi laboratory scale equipment. The effects of the sol phase pH, the drug loading, the water/al

7. Activities of various cobalamins for Euglena gracilis with reference to vitamin B12 assay with Euglena
Coenzyme B12 and methylcobalamin in water are less active in promoting growth of Euglena gracilis Z strain than the same concentrations of cyanocobalamin and hydroxocobalamin which are equally active. When bound to human serum or human liver homogenate, however, the activities of these four cobalamins do not differ significantly with one exception. The resul

8. REQUIREMENT OF SPHAEROTILUS FOR CYANOCOBALAMIN1
Okrend, Harold (Rutgers, The State University, New Brunswick, N.J.), and Norman C. Dondero. Requirement of Sphaerotilus for cyanocobalamin. J. Bacteriol. 87:286–292. 1964.—Cultures of Sphaerotilus grew well in a culture medium containing pancreatic digest of casein, glycerol, and yeast autolysate, but grew poorly in a defined medium containing monosodium

9. The urinary excretion and tissue retention of cyanocobalamin by subjects given repeated parenteral doses
The urinary excretion of injected cyanocobalamin was studied in 30 previously untreated vitamin B12-deficient patients by measuring the urinary radioactivity after repeated injections of 58Co vitamin B12. The dose range used was 54 to 30,000 μg., each patient receiving the same dose at each injection.

10. An assessment of serum 57Co cyanocobalamin as an index of vitamin B12 absorption1
A technique has been developed for accurately assaying serum and urine 57Co cyanocobalamin during the conventional Schilling test. Serum and urine radioactivity in a large number of patients has been correlated and the precise normal limits have been determined by statistical analysis. The implications of this for investigating conditions other than pernicio

11. Kinetics of the Attachment of Intrinsic Factor-Bound Cobamides to Ileal Receptors
To determine whether the molecular configuration of vitamin B12 influences the attachment of intrinsic factor-vitamin B12 complex to ileal microvillous membrane receptor sites, we have examined the kinetics of uptake of intrinsic factor-bound cyanocobalamin by brush borders and microvillous membranes isolated from guinea pig ileum, and have compared this upt
