1. O que é o “teste do pezinho”?
A triagem neonatal é um exame laboratorial que detecta precocemente doenças metabólicas, genéticas e infecciosas, que poderão causar alterações no desenvolvimento neuropsicomotor do bebê. O exame ficou conhecido como “TESTE DO PEZINHO” devido a maneira como é realizado; esta expressão ‘teste do pezinho’ só existe aqui no Brasil.
