2. Effect of Cariogenic Challenge on the Degradation of Adhesive-Dentin Interfaces

4. Effect of DLC Films with and without Silver Nanoparticles Deposited On Titanium Alloy

5. Interfacial bond-slip relationship between Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer Plate and Concrete after High Temperature of Asphalt Paving Construction
Abstract The bond-slip relationship of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) plate-concrete after the influence of high temperature action of Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA) paving was investigated in this article. Two groups of double shear specimens with different bonding length were designed and tested. Based on the test results, the failure modes of specimen

6. Bond strength evaluation between textiles reinforced mortar with carbon nanotubes and concrete substrate
Abstract The influence of using carbon nanotubes to improve bond strength between textiles reinforced mortar and concrete was investigated. Forty-two specimens were tested using double-shear test to evaluate the effect of various parameters such as CNTs addition, type of textile material, bond length and width, and number of TRM layers on the bond behavior.

7. Improved Functionalization of Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes in Ultra-Low Acid Volume: Effect of Solid/Liquid Interface
A comprehensive study of a less harmful functionalization of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) was performed. The influence of ultrasonic cavitation and solid/liquid interface was indirectly evaluated by statistical characterization of MWCNT aspect ratio and degree of functionalization. MWCNT aspect ratio was determined through hundreds of electron micros

8. Physicochemical Study of the Interaction between Gold Nanoparticles and Lipase from Candida sp. (CALB): Insights into the Nano-Bio Interface
The surface interactions between gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) and lipase from Candida antarctica fraction B (CALB) were investigated at macromolecular and colloidal length-scales. In order to elucidate the reciprocal effect of the interactions on the individual component’s properties, CALB was either added during the synthesis of AuNPs or added to pre-synthe

9. Effect of Squeeze Casting on Microhardness and Microstructure of Al-3Cu-xSi Alloy
Aluminum alloys of the ANSI series 319 present Si and Cu as the main alloying elements and the mechanical strength of these alloys can be improved by the precipitation of the metastable Al2Cu phase. Squeeze Casting is a casting process in which the cast metal is deposited in a metal mold and solidified under certain pressure exerted by a punch. This process

10. Effect of surface roughness and lubrication on the friction coefficient in deep drawing processes of aluminum alloy aa1100 with fem analysis
ABSTRACT Friction between the interface workpiece and tooling has considerable importance in sheet metal forming operations; an accurate description of the friction is necessary to analyze and design new workpieces and tooling. This work suggests a methodology to determine and evaluate the mean coefficient of friction (COF) using the Finite Element Method (F

11. Phase-Field Simulation for Non-isothermal Solidification of Al-Cu Binary Alloy
Based on the principle of dilute solution approximation, a phase field model for dendritic growth during the non-isothermal solidification process was proposed by coupling the phase field, concentration field and temperature field, and was adopted to investigate the dendritic growth of Al-Cu binary alloy during the non-isothermal solidification process. Also
