2. Study of the interaction of mass A=8 nuclei with carbon target and of the capture reaction 8Li(p,y)9Be of astrophysical interest / Estudo da interação de núcleos de massa A=8 com alvo de carbono e da reação de captura 8Li(p,)9Be de interesse astrofísico
The measurements of the angular distributions for the elastic scatterings 12C(Li,Li) and 12C(8B,8B) reported in this work have been done in two laboratories. Those corresponding to the angular distributions for the elastic scattering 12C(8Li,8Li) were performed at two ene&ies, 20.6 MeV and 23.9 MeV, at the Pelletron Laboratory of the University of São Paulo

3. Elastic scattering and reaction with secondary beans of exotic nucleus / Estudo do espalhamento elástico e reações de feixes secundários de núcleos exóticos

4. Estudo do espalhamento elástico de projetéis exóticos por alvo de massa intermediária / Study of elastic scattering between exotic projectiles and medium target
Radioactive beams of 8Li and 6He were produced using the double superconducting solenoid system of RIBRAS (Radioactive Ion Beams in Brasil) with a primary beam of 7Li of Elab = 30 MeV, at the São Paulo Pelletron Accelerator. The production reactions were 9Be(7Li, 8Li)8Be and 9Be(7Li, 6He)10B. The angular distributions of the elastic scattering of the 8Li ra

5. "Study of the Elastic Scattering Between Nuclei Light Heavy Radioactive Stable" / "Estudo do Espalhamento Elástico Entre Núcleos Pesados Leves Estáveis e Radioativos"
The angular distributions of the elastic scattering for the 12C+28Si and 6He+27Al systems have been measured, in energies close to the Coulomb barrier. For the 12C+28Si system the data were obtained at energies Ec.m. = 12.4 - 25.2MeV and to 6He+27Al system were measured four energies Elab = 9.5, 11, 12 and 13.4MeV. The analysis of the angular distributions w

6. Nuclear reaction studies with exotic boron beams
Spectroscopic investigation, on exotic nuclei, performed in two different experiments with secondary radioactive boron beams are discussed. Spectroscopic factors for the 13B+n bound-states are obtained by measuring momentum distribution of the 13B residual nucleus from knockout reaction of the 14B beam at intermediate energy. The momentum distributions are m

7. GANIL, present and future
Based on the LINAG Phase 1 conceptual design, a two years detailed study on a ISOL-type facility for the production of high intensity exotic beams, named SPIRAL2, has been launched. The radioactive isotope beams are produced via the fission process, with the aim of 10(13) fissions/s at least, induced in a UCx target either by fast neutrons from a C converter

8. JLab: probing hadronic physics with electrons and photons
Precision measurements of the structure of nucleons and nuclei in the regime of strong interaction QCD are now possible with the availability of high current polarized electron beams, polarized targets, and recoil polarimeters, in conjunction with modern spectrometers and detector instrumentation. The physics at JLab will be highlighted using two recent meas

9. Radioactive ion beams in Brasil (RIBRAS)
The study of the so called exotic nuclei constitutes an important field of research in nuclear physics. The possibility of producing secondary beams of unstable nuclei(RIB) allows the investigation of nuclei at extreme conditions as low binding energies, high angular momentum and isospin. More laboratories are going through the process of re-direction of the

10. Fragmentation of exotic oxygen isotopes
Abrasion-ablation models and the empirical EPAX parametrization of projectile fragmentation are described. Their cross section predictions are compared to recent data of the fragmentation of secondary beams of neutron-rich, unstable 19,20,21O isotopes at beam energies near 600 MeV/nucleon as well as data for stable 17,18O beams.
