1. Caracterizacion y analisis de la variabilidad genética de la granadilla (Passiflora ligularis juss.) en Colombia empleando marcadores microsatélites
Sweet passion fruit is the second economically important species of the genus Passiflora and Colombia is the largest producer in the world with 53,000 t/year. There are however, few studies on intraspecific diversity within the species that establish genetic relationships between individuals. The objective of this research was to explore the genetic variabil

2. Estudo das populações de flebotomíneos transmissores de Leishmania no Panamá / Study of sand fly population transmitter of Leishmania in Panam
The sand flies are insects of the order Diptera (nematocera), family Psychodidae, subfamily Phlebotominae that are recognized as important disease vectors. They are known to be vectors of arbovirus belonging to the family Reoviridae, Bunyaviridae and Rhabdoviridae as well as vectors of bacteria of family Bartonellacea. However, sand flies gained more epidemi

3. Mapeamento geomorfológico aplicado na análise de impactos ambientais urbanos: contribuições ao (re)conhecimento de morfologias, morfocronogêneses e morfodinâmicas do relevo da bacia hidrográfica do Arroio Feijó - RS / Geomorphologic mapping applied to the analysis of urban environmental impacts: contributions to the (re) cognition of morphology, morphochronogenesis, and morphodynamics of the Feijó/ RS stream basin relief
Urban environmental impacts generate various social disorders. In many cases, the analysis of environmental impacts should be the agenda for everyday discussion, included in urban planning policies. As support to these policies of urban planning in a perspective of applicability of geomorphologic knowledge we highlight the thematic mappings in geomorphology.

4. Evidence of geographical structuring in the Malaysian Snakehead, Channa striata based on partial segment of the CO1 gene
Channa striata, locally known as "haruan", is economically important in fisheries and aquaculture industries in several Asian countries. DNA sequencing, based on a partial segment of the Cytochrome oxidase c subunit 1 (CO1) gene, was used to determine genetic variation in C. striata samples from four different populations on the west coast of Peninsular Mala

5. Genetic structure of the snakehead murrel, Channa striata (channidae) based on the cytochrome c oxidase subunit I gene: influence of historical and geomorphological factors
Nucleotide sequences of a partial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I gene were used to assess the manner in which historical processes and geomorphological effects may have influenced genetic structuring and phylogeographic patterns in Channa striata. Assaying was based on individuals from twelve populations in four river systems, which were separated into two r

6. Morphological and genetical structuring in populations of Actinote pellenea Hübner [1821] (Lepidoptera, Nymphalidae) / Estruturação morfológica e genética em populações de Actinote pellenea Hübner, [1821] (Lepidoptera, Nymphalidae)

7. Variation and genetic structure of Melipona quadrifasciata Lepeletier (Hymenoptera, Apidae) populations based on ISSR pattern
For a study of diversity and genetic structuring in Melipona quadrifasciata, 61 colonies were collected in eight locations in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. By means of PCR analysis, 119 ISSR bands were obtained, 80 (68%) being polymorphic. He and H B were 0.20 and 0.16, respectively. Two large groups were obtained by the UPGMA method, one formed by indi

8. Genetic structure of drone congregation areas of Africanized honeybees in southern Brazil
As yet, certain aspects of the Africanization process are not well understood, for example, the reproductive behavior of African and European honeybees and how the first Africanized swarms were formed and spread. Drone congregation areas (DCAs) are the ideal place to study honeybee reproduction under natural conditions since hundreds of drones from various c

9. Uso de marcadores microssatélites para avaliação genética de populações de Melipona mandacaia Smith, 1863 (Hymenoptera, Apoidea) no Estado da Bahia / Microssatellites markers applied to genetic evaluation of populations of Melipona mandacaia Smith, 1863 (Hymenoptera, Apoidea) in Bahia State, Brazil
Melipona mandacaia, is an indigenous stingless bee (Meliponini Tribe), an endemic species of the semi-arid of the northeast of Brazil. The original flora of the caatinga has been altered by the human action. This alteration reduces the food resources and the places available for nesting, so this affects the dispersion and the genetic flow of the populations

10. FILOGEOGRAFIA E ESTRUTURA GENÉTICA DE POPULAÇÕES DA MUNGUBEIRA (PSEUDOBOMBAX MUNGUBA (MART. &ZUCC.) DUGAND, MALVACEAE - BOMBACOIDEAE) NA AMAZÔNIA BRASILEIRA
The current structure of plant populations reflects not only the present patterns of genetic exchange within and between populations, but also historical gene flow, lineage isolation, and maintenance of ancestral polymorphisms. Phylogeography is a field study interested in the reconstruction of history of species to understand their origins and responses to

11. Padrões de distribuição genotipica em litorinideos (Mollusca : Gastropoda) da costa brasileira / Genotypic distribution patterns in littorinids (Mollusca : Gastropoda) from Brazilian coast
One of the main questions in biology is the link between a species ecology and its evolution. Evaluating the relationship between the geographical scale over which populations differ genetically and the species dispersal ability is a way to understand how this link is established. Spatial variation in allellic frequencies of natural populations may be explai

This work has as objective to do an analysis of the contemporary youth s daily life, trying to understand, to interpret and to explain the way as the multiples meanings the youths attribute to the social compasses that they surround are built and used. Expressions as lifestyle, communication means and leisure forms will be studied to the function of the cons
