1. Electrochemical Determination of Trifluralin Herbicide Using Silver Solid Amalgam Electrode: Application in Fresh Food Samples
This paper reports the use of polished silver solid amalgam electrode (p-AgSAE) allied to square wave voltammetry (SWV) in the development of a simple, sensitive, fast and green electroanalytical methodology for the trifluralin herbicide determination in fresh food samples. The experimental (supporting electrolyte and potential and time accumulation) and vol

2. Physicochemical properties, antioxidant activities and sensory characteristics of commercial gape vinegars during long-term storage
Abstract This study was designed to investigate changes in quality characteristics during long-term storage of five commercial grape vinegars (V1~V5). To determine long-term quality characteristics of vinegars, proximate (soluble solid, pH, total acidity, color, and antioxidant activity) and sensory descriptive analysis, were performed. Initial soluble solid

5. Antioxidant and Vasodilatory Action of Grape Juices Produced in Different Regions of Brazil
Abstract Background: Grapes and its derivatives (wines and juices) are rich in polyphenols that have high antioxidant and vasodilator capacity. These biological activities may vary in the juices marketed and produced in different regions of Brazil. Objectives: To determine the antioxidant and vasorelaxant effects of grape juice samples produced in differen

7. Effects of whole-wheat flour and bordeaux grape pomace (Vitis labrusca L.) on the sensory, physicochemical and functional properties of cookies
Abstract Grape pomace, which is derived from the skin and seeds, is the residue from the production of grape juice and wine. It corresponds to up to 20% of the total volume and it contains a high level of dietary fibers and bioactive compounds. In the Brazilian market, there is no product containing grape pomace as a replacement for conventional wheat flour.

8. Production of grape juice powder obtained by freeze-drying after concentration by reverse osmosis
This study aimed to evaluate the freeze-drying process for obtaining grape juice powder by reverse osmosis using 50% grape juice pre-concentrated (28.5 °Brix) and 50% hydrocolloids (37.5% maltodextrin and 12.5% arabic gum). The morphology of the glassy food showed the absence of crystalline structure, which was the amorphous wall that protected the contents

9. Kinetic of water diffusion and color stability of a resin composite as a function of the curing tip distance
The influence of curing tip distance and storage time in the kinetics of water diffusion (water sorption-W SP, solubility-W SB, and net water uptake) and color stability of a composite were evaluated. Composite samples were polymerized at different distances (5, 10, and 15 mm) and compared to a control group (0 mm). After desiccation, the specimens were stor
