1. Sulfonylurea resistance in Amaranthus hybridus from southern Brazil
ABSTRACT Amaranthus hybridus is a C4 broadleaf species widely spread across Brazilian agricultural territory. Recently, several herbicide resistance reports have been documented in southern Brazil, including the reports for enolpyruvilshikymate-3-phosphate (EPSPS)- and acetolactate-synthase (ALS)- inhibitors. The objective of this study was to confirm the ex

2. Competitive Ability of Canola Hybrids Resistant and Susceptible to Herbicides

3. Persistence of imazapyr+imazapic in irrigated rice area and effect on soybean due to soil moisture and phytoremediation in the off-season
ABSTRACT The residue of imidazolinone herbicides in soil can be detrimental to soybean cultivation in rotation with Clearfield® rice. Thus, this research aimed to evaluate the ryegrass phytoremediation capacity on the imazapyr+imazapic residue in the soil in two soil moisture conditions in the off-season, and the effect on soybean growth in the next growing

4. Spatial and temporal evolution of imidazolinone-resitant red rice in 'Clearfield' rice cultivations

5. Phytotoxicity of imazapyr+imazapic on tolerant rice varieties Guri INTA CL and IRGA 424 RI
ABSTRACT Rice varieties from the Clearfield® system may present different tolerance levels to imidazolinone herbicides in function of application rate. The objective of this research was to evaluate the phytotoxicity of different rates of the formulated mixture of the herbicides imazapyr+imazapic applied on two tolerant irrigated rice varieties. The exper

6. Morphological and Metabolic Changes in Soybean Plants Cultivated in Irrigated Rice Rotation and as Affected by Imazapyr and Imazapic Herbicides Carryover

7. Leaching of Imidazolinones in Irrigation Systems in Rice Cultivation: Sprinkling and Flooding

8. Properties of the enzyme acetolactate synthase in herbicide resistant canola
ABSTRACT Mutations in the gene that encodes the enzyme acetolactate synthase (ALS), conferring plant resistance to ALS inhibitor herbicides, can reduce or inhibit enzymatic function. The objective of this work was to determine the functionality and kinetic characteristics of the enzyme ALS and evaluate the action of the herbicides imazapic (imidazolinone) an

9. BRS A701 CL: a new irrigated rice cultivar adapted to the clearfield® production system
Abstract A partnership program of Embrapa and BASF resulted in the development of a new irrigated rice cultivar adapted to the Clearfield® production system in Rio Grande do Sul. The cultivar is tolerant to the imidazolinone herbicide kifix®. In field trials in Rio Grande do Sul it produced a mean yield of 8394 kg ha-1.

10. Contribution of non-target-site resistance in imidazolinone-resistant Imisun sunflower
ABSTRACT The first commercial herbicide-resistant trait in sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) is known as ‘Imisun’. Imidazolinone resistance in Imisun cultivars has been reported to be genetically controlled by a major gene (known as Imr1 or Ahasl1-1) and modifier genes. Imr1 is an allelic variant of the Ahasl1 locus that codes for the acetohydroxyacid syn

12. Dispersive Liquid-Liquid Microextraction with Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry for the Determination of Triazine, Neonicotinoid, Triazole and Imidazolinone Pesticides in Mineral Water Samples
Mineral water is known for its high purity. Because mineral water is produced by the infiltration of water through the soil, there is the possibility of contamination with pesticides. The aim of this study was to develop a simple, rapid and efficient method for the extraction and preconcentration of different classes of pesticides in mineral water samples by
