1. Synthesis, Hypoglycemic Effect, Antimicrobial and Molecular Docking Studies of Organotin(IV) Complexes Derived From N-Phthalimido β-Amino Acid Derivatives
N-Phthalimido β-amino acid derivatives, 3-phthalimido-3(2-hydroxyphenyl) propanoic acid (P2HPA) and 3-phthalimido-3(2-nitrophenyl) propanoic acid (P2NPA) with new series of di- and triorganotin(IV) complexes (1-12) have been designed and synthesized. All the ligands and organotin(IV) complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, Fourier transform infr

2. Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and brain metabolites from proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy: a systematic review and meta-analysis protocol
Abstract Despite major advances in the study of the brain, investigations on neurochemistry in vivo still lack the solid ground of more established methods, such as structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging. Proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) is a technique that might potentially fill in this gap. Nevertheless, studies using this approac

3. Self-Assembled Nanoparticles of Diruthenium(II,III)-Ibuprofen Anticancer Metallodrug
The diruthenium(II,III)-ibuprofen (RuIbp) metallodrug shows anticancer activity in vitro and in vivo. The encapsulation into lipid nanoparticles enhanced the efficacy in glioblastoma, breast and prostate cancer cells. Here we report data for RuIbp hydrophobicity, solubility in alcohol/water, and behavior in 1-5% ethanol/water and ethanol/cell culture medium.

4. CHARACTERIZATION OF INTERACTION BETWEEN BUDDLEOSIDE AND BOVINE SERUM ALBUMIN
The primary objective of this study was to investigate the binding of buddleoside to bovine serum albumin (BSA) by different analytical techniques. The analytical principles of affinity capillary electrophoresis (ACE) and fluorescence spectroscopy used in the experiments were different. Mobility (M) that is independent of viscosity of the operating buffer an

5. Evaluation of Anticancer Activity of Extracted Flavonoids from Morus Alba Leaves and its interaction with DNA
ABSTRACT Morous Alba, known as white mulberry contains many oxidative flavonoids, widely used in the treatment of many diseases like hyperglycemia, inflammation, fever and cancer. In the present study we investigated the interaction of extracted flavonoids from Iranian Morus Alba leaves with DNA as a main target for anticancer drugs. Various spectroscopic te

6. Synthesis, X-ray diffraction study and pharmacological evaluation of 3-amino-4-methylthiophene-2-acylcarbohydrazones
ABSTRACT N-acylhydrazone is an interesting privileged structure that has been used in the molecular design of a myriad of bioactive compounds. In order to identify new antinociceptive drug candidates, we described herein the design, synthesis, X-ray diffraction study and the pharmacological evaluation of a series of 3-amino-4-methylthiophene-2-acylcarbohydra

7. Natural decomposition of hornbeam wood decayed by the white rot fungus Trametes versicolor
ABSTRACT The impacts of white-rot fungi on altering wood chemistry have been studied mostly in vitro. However, in vivo approaches may enable better assessment of the nature of interactions between saprotrophic fungi and host tree in nature. Hence, decayed and sound wood samples were collected from a naturally infected tree (Carpinus betulus L.). Fruiting bod

8. Evaluation of skin absorption of drugs from topical and transdermal formulations
ABSTRACT The skin barrier function has been attributed to the stratum corneum and represents a major challenge in clinical practice pertaining to cutaneous administration of drugs. Despite this, a large number of bioactive compounds have been successfully administered via cutaneous administration because of advances in the design of topical and transdermal f

11. Evaluation of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy variability
INTRODUCTION: The intrinsically high sensitivity of Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) causes considerable variability in metabolite quantification. In this study, we evaluated the variability of MRS in two research centers using the same model of magnetic resonance image scanner. METHODS: Two metabolic phantoms were created to simulate magnetic resonance

12. In-vivo bone response to titanium screw implants anodized in sodium sulfate
PURPOSE: To evaluate the early bone response to a nanotextured dental implant treated with sodium sulfate (Na2SO4), using a rabbit model. METHODS: Twelve animals were randomly divided into group 1 (Control) - machined implants and group 2 (Test) - nanotextured implants. Extra-oral incision was performed to provide access to intended surgical site where the
