5. Hevea Linamarase—A Nonspecific β-Glycosidase 1
In the leaf tissue of the cyanogenic plant Hevea brasiliensis, which contains large amounts of linamarin, there is no specific linamarase. In Hevea leaves only one β-glucosidase is detectable.
