1. Aspects of nonmetricity in gravity theories
In this work, we show that a class of metric-affine gravities can be reduced to a Riemann-Cartan one. The reduction is based on the cancelation of the nonmetricity against the symmetric components of the spin connection. A heuristic proof, in the Einstein-Cartan formalism, is performed in the special case of diagonal unitary tangent metric tensor. The result

4. Convergence of quantum electrodynamics in a curved modification of Minkowski space.
The interaction and total hamiltonians for quantum electrodynamics, in the interaction representation, are entirely regular self-adjoint operators in Hilbert space, in the universal covering manifold M of the conformal compactification of Minkowski space Mo. (M is conformally equivalent to the Einstein universe E, in which Mo may be canonically imbedded.) In

5. Minimal coupling and the symplectic mechanics of a classical particle in the presence of a Yang-Mills field
This note is to show how to use symplectic geometry to write equations of motion of a “classical particle” in the presence of a Yang-Mills field, for any gauge group, G, and any differentiable manifold, M. In the case that M is Minkowski space and G = U(1), the equations reduce to the Lorentz equations for a charged particle in an electromagnetic field.
