1. Variation in plant-animal interactions along an elevational gradient of moist forest in a semiarid area of Brazil
Pollination and dispersal are critical ecological processes that directly affect the reproductive success of plants and are important for understanding the structure of plant communities. We compiled data on pollination and dispersal syndromes of 406 plant species distributed among different elevations in Área de Proteção Ambiental da Serra de Baturité (

2. Pollination and dispersal systems in a Cerrado remnant (Brazilian Savanna) in Southeastern Brazil
The aim of this work was to identify the pollination and dispersal systems among the species in a disjunct marginal cerrado area and to compare the frequency of these systems to those found in other Neotropical vegetation. The floral and diaspore traits and the pollination and dispersal systems of 176 species were analysed in a cerrado remnant in Southeaster

3. Ecologia reprodutiva de Dyckia encholirioides var. encholirioides (GAUD) Mez. (Bromeliaceae) em costões oceânicos em Florianópolis, Santa Catarina
The aim of this study was to describe and characterize the reproductive ecology of Dyckia encholirioides var. (Gaud) Mez. encholirioides, in Florianópolis, SC. The flowering occurs from the end of the winter until spring. The duration of the flowering in a single individual averaged 23 days. The anthesis of the flowers occurred along the day and presented a

5. Polinização e dispersão de sementes em solanaceas neotropicais
To understand the ecological processes that provides the functioning of an ecosystem implies in conducting multiple studies about its components and interactions. In this sense, it is very important to know the functional relationships of the species and to make comparisons (both intercommunity and pancommunity) among groups of species phylogenetically relat
