1. A Recursive Methodology to Determine the Mechanical Response of Thin Laminated Plates in Bending
ABSTRACT: The paper's objective is to present the development of a recursive methodology which is based on Adomian Decompostion Method in order to evaluate the mechanical response of thin laminated plates in linear bending. By the equivalent layer concept, the linear relation between the equivalent stresses and the strains, namely ABD matrix, is established.

2. Modeling the pull-in instability of the CNT-based probe/actuator under the Coulomb force and the van der Waals attraction
Carbon nano-tube (CNT) is applied to fabricate nano-probes, nano-switches, nano-sensors and nano- actuators. In this paper, a continuum model is employed to obtain the nonlinear constitutive equation and pull-in instability of CNT-based probe/actuators, which includes the effect of electrostatic interaction and intermolecular van der Waals (vdW) forces. The

3. Accuracy of analytical-numerical solutions of the Michaelis-Menten equation
It is the aim of this paper to investigate a suitable approach to compute solutions of the powerful Michaelis-Menten enzyme reaction equation with less computational effort. We obtain analytical-numerical solutions using piecewise finite series by means of the differential transformation method, DTM. In addition, we compute a global analytical solution by a

4. Picard and Adomian methods for quadratic integral equation
We are concerning with two analytical methods; the classical method of successive approximations (Picard method) [14] which consists the construction of a sequence of functions such that the limit of this sequence of functions in the sense of uniform convergence is the solution of a quadratic integral equation, and Adomian method which gives the solution as

6. EMPREGO DA PARAMETRIZAÇÃO DE HEISENBERG E DO MÉTODO DE ADOMIAN NO DECAIMENTO DA CAMADA LIMITE CONVECTIVA / EMPLOYMENT OF THE HEISENBERGS PARAMETERIZATION AND THE METHOD OF ADOMIAN IN THE DECAY CONVECTIVE BOUNDARY LAYER

7. Biological system interactions.
Mathematical modeling of cellular population growth, interconnected subsystems of the body, blood flow, and numerous other complex biological systems problems involves nonlinearities and generally randomness as well. Such problems have been dealt with by mathematical methods often changing the actual model to make it tractable. The method presented in this p
