1. Synthesis and characterization of α-SnWO4 powders obtained by microwave-assisted hydrothermal method
Abstract The structural, morphological, and optical properties of α-SnWO4 synthesized by microwave-assisted hydrothermal method at 150 °C for different times were investigated. XRD revealed the formation of the orthorhombic phase, without the presence of a secondary phase. The sample processed for 64 min showed a reduction in unit cell volume, suggesting a

2. Photoluminescent Investigation of the Doping Site of Eu3+-Doped [Zn3(BTC)2·12H2O] Metal-Organic Framework Prepared by Microwave-Assisted Hydrothermal Synthesis
The [Zn3(BTC)2·12H2O] (BTC = 1,3,5-tricarboxylate) metal-organic framework (MOF) was successfully synthesized using a microwave-assisted hydrothermal synthesis technique, which allowed for significantly decreased reaction time compared to the production of the same compound via conventional heating. In situ doping with Eu3+ ions at concentrations ranging fr

3. Microwave Assisted Ultra-Fast Method to Synthesize Carbonate-Phosphates, Na3MCO3PO4 (M = Mn, Fe, Co, Ni) - Relevant Materials Applied in Sodium-Ion Batteries
Although largely used in mobiles and electric vehicles applications, insertion batteries based on Li-ion technology are high-cost devices. These applications require high-performance energy storage systems with high-energy and high-power densities, which are better attained by Li-ion technology. However, stationary applications such as power plants and unint

4. Microwave radiation influence on the thermal and spectroscopic properties of Na-birnessite-type material

5. Dielectric Behavior of α-Ag2WO4 and its Huge Dielectric Loss Tangent
The microwave-assisted hydrothermal method was used to obtain α-Ag2WO4. Rietveld refinement confirmed that α-Ag2WO4 is stable in the orthorhombic phase, without secondary phase. However, field-effect scanning electron microscope analysis showed that α-Ag2WO4 nanorods surfaces contain silver nanoparticles, confirmed by the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy

6. CuO Rapid Synthesis with Different Morphologies by the Microwave Hydrothermal Method
CuO structures were synthesized by microwave hydrothermal treatment using two different mineralizing agents (NaOH and NH4OH) and were evaluated as photocatalysts. The materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) surface area analysis. The XRD patterns indicated the formation of

7. Effect of Different Synthesis Methods on the Textural Properties of Calcium Tungstate (CaWO4) and Its Catalytic Properties in the Toluene Oxidation
Calcium tungstate (CaWO4) crystals were prepared by microwave-assisted hydrothermal (MAH) and polymeric precursor methods (PPM). These crystals were structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), N2 adsorption, X-ray absorption near edge spectroscopy (XANES) and extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) measurements. The morphology and size of

8. Synergistic Effect of 4A Zeolite from Rice Husk Ash without Aging Time and Silane on the Adhesion Properties of a Warm Mix Asphalt
4A Zeolite was synthesized using rice husk ash (RHA) as a raw material in a microwave-assisted hydrothermal synthesis. Two new procedures were proposed: procedure A, using RHA as the raw material, and procedure B, using the depolymerized RHA. Both procedures were performed using microwave-assisted hydrothermal synthesis, and neither synthesis required an agi

9. Characterization of ZnAl2O4 Spinel Obtained by Hydrothermal and Microwave Assisted Combustion Method: A Comparative Study
In this work, zinc aluminate spinel was prepared by two methods of directly synthesis (without calcination): microwave assisted combustion and hydrothermal method. The materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and N2-adsorption/desorption isotherms. The XRD patterns confirmed the formation of cubic ZnAl2O4 sp

10. Easy and Fast Preparation of TiO2 - based Nanostructures Using Microwave Assisted Hydrothermal Synthesis
TiO2 derivatives with distinct morphologies have been successfully obtained by microwave assisted hydrothermal synthesis in acidic and alkaline medium using mild conditions. Titanium tetraisopropoxide (TTIP) was used as precursor in different environmental conditions under low temperatures, inferior to 150 °C, and short synthesis times, from 2 to 60 min. X

11. Síntese de BaTIO3 e SrTIO3 pelo método hidrotermal assistido por micro-ondas utilizando anatase como precursor de titânio
In this work barium titanate (BT) and strontium titanate (ST) were prepared by Microwave-Assisted Hydrothermal (MAH) method, using a Ti precursor different from those shown in the literature and various concentrations (1, 3 e 6 mol L-1) of KOH mineralizer. As a titanium precursor, an anatase complex with hydrogen peroxide were used. For the precursors of bar

12. TITANATE NANOTUBES PRODUCED FROM MICROWAVE-ASSISTED HYDROTHERMAL SYNTHESIS: CHARACTERIZATION, ADSORPTION AND PHOTOCATALYTIC ACTIVITY
Abstract A microwave-assisted hydrothermal (MAH) method was employed to synthesize TiO2 nanotubes (TNTs) and these were compared to the conventional hydrothermal (CH) method. The nanotubes were characterized for their crystallinity, morphology, surface area and photocatalytic activity. The TiO2 P25 was used for comparison purposes and efficiently degraded bo
