1. In Vitro Regeneration of Arachis Villosulicarpa Hoehne from Cotyledon Segments, Leaves and Cell Suspension.
In vitro regeneration from immature leaves and cotyledon segments of A. villosuli-carpa Hoehne was obtained on Murashige & Skoog medium (1962) plus 1.0 mg/l 1-naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) and 1.0 mg/l 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP). Cotyledon segments showed higher morphogenetic potential than immature leaves. Morphogenic calli could also be obtained from leaves

2. Propagação vegetativa e cultivo in vitro de Bixa orellana L. e Ginkgo biloba L. / Vegetative propagation and in vitro culture of Bixa orellana L. and Ginkgo biloba L.
Bixa Orellana L. and Ginkgo biloba L. are woody species that synthesize exclusive medicinal components of economic importance. The objectives of this study were: (1) to evaluate and select genotypes of B. orellana with high bixin content; (2) to rescue vegetative genotypes of B. orellana aiming the production of explants for the in vitro culture; (3) to esta

3. TISSUE CULTURE AND b-ECDYSONE PRODUCTION OF Pfaffia glomerata AND Pfaffia tuberosa (AMARANTHACEAE) / CULTURA DE TECIDOS E PRODUÇÃO DE b-ECDISONA EM Pfaffia glomerata E Pfaffia tuberosa (AMARANTHACEAE)
Many biotechnological techniques have been formed by new tools to the study of medicinal plants and for the production of homogenous and productive biomass. This work aimed to examine aspects of morphogenesis and callogenesis in Pfaffia glomerata and Pfaffia tuberosa as well as to evaluate the production of -ecdysone in micropropagated plants, clones and cal

4. In vitro behaviour of explants from potassium treated carrot matrixes (daucus carota l.). / Comportamento in vitro de explantes de matrizes de cenoura (Daucus carota L.) tratadas com variáveis níveis de potássio.
The growth of plants, organs, tissues and cells in vitro culture depends on the development of optimized culture medium for the perfect interaction among essential components such as phytoregulators, carbon source and minerals nutrients. The factors limiting the growth of organs or tissues in vitro conditions are similar to those limiting growth in vivo cond
